We all have regrets over bad choices, and we long for a second chance. Well… there is a way! Christ laid down his life to die on the cross for our sins, so we could be set free. His sacrifice allowed us to become new creations in Christ, but we need to believe the truth of the gospel and be willing to follow Christ as our Lord and Savior. Let me share with you the story of Taylor, who took a transformational trek to new beginnings. We can all relate to her story.

Lord, you are sovereign over all things in heaven and on earth. I praise your holy name for all that you have done in the past and all that you will do in the future. My life is in your hands. Please help me to trust you unconditionally, serve you sacrificially, and follow you with obedience. I want to decrease so your glory will increase. Would you allow me to be your ambassador so I can shine the light of Christ to those around me? I want our relationship to be unhindered by my sin. Shine your light on the deep-rooted idols of my heart so I can turn away from them. I love you, Lord, and I am willing to surrender whatever you ask of me. May my testimony be a witness to your mercy and grace so I can encourage and bless others along the journey. To you be the glory, Lord, now and forevermore. Amen

Taylor's Transformation Story
The insatiable draw to the beauty and serenity of the Adirondack mountains was deep in Taylor’s soul. Every weekend, she was compelled to climb mountains and was easily taken in by the breathtaking summit views and wildlife around her. While she was lost in her thoughts, she would often wander off-trail and find herself unable to find the trail markers. What started as a carefree hike would often end in a bushwacking nightmare. This scenario mirrored her personal life. Taylor had a constant feeling of unrest and she wandered aimlessly without purpose. Why am I here? Is this all there is to life? She often felt lonely, misunderstood, and ached for significance. Taylor wasn’t sure what she was looking for, except she knew that she desired change. The Lord whispered to her, “I will show you the path of life, and grant you the joy of my presence and the pleasures of living with me forever.” (Paraphrase of Psalm 16:11) Taylor talked to God out loud and said, “If you exist God, then please reveal to me the path of life.”
